Hotline

Hotline is a
collaborative piece with artist Matt Kenyon, where we are
connected to each other sonically through out telephones
for one month. It is the blending of these two intimate
spaces of our body and our environment, over 2400 miles
apart for 30 days straight. It will push us into a very
tight space to share, despite being physically apart-
testing personal levels of endurance and co-inhabitance. It
is between going, and being somewhere. It renders a
relationship to another place, but it never permanently
places us within that environment. It is the simultaneity
of distance and intimacy. It is a performative exploration
of the transgressing of spaces, which by default, yields
another space that would not otherwise exist.
